Price per Unit (Party of 8): $240.00

Attention all Might-be Murderers,
Could-be Criminals,
Possible Plotters,

Two Right Feet is proud to announce their Back-to-the-'50s Murder Mystery Dinner Party Package for 8!

Join us in Maltie's Falcon Malt Shop (our dance studio) for an evening of mystery, intrigue, laughter, not to mention burgers and malts! The scene is the Roley City High School Class of 1954's Reunion. Eight old friends gather in the malt shop after the performance of their most  famous fellow graduate: Rock N. Roley. Trouble is, their guest of honor fails to show; instead, the cops bring word of the death of an unidentified young man who's been crushed in his car on the railroad tracks at Backroad Crossing.

Each of you is a suspect, and your job throughout the evening is to successfully deflect suspicion from yourself (though you may NEVER ACTUALLY LIE), while directing it toward one of your so-called friends as ever-more tasty tidbits of incriminating information is revealed in four rounds of play. Throughout the evening, delectable, authentic malt shop fare is served by your hosts Malcolm and Mallory Content (Sid and Anthony). The menu includes your choice of rootbeer floats or malts,  burgers or hotdogs, chips or tater tots, apple pie or create-your-own sundaes, and there's plenty of freshly popped popcorn on-site to munch all evening.

This four-hour extravaganza of evasion and truth extraction, fine '50s diner foods and finger pointing is yours for just $30 per person/$240 per group of eight (tips not included). Parties of eight complete the cast and all must be present for the show to go on. Costumes are recommended, and some items may be available for rent for the evening from your hosts. (We have spare Poodle skirts and a Roley High School letterman's jacket, for instance.)

Cast of characters includes:

  • Joe K. Awledge — Corporate mogule wannabe and Rock N. Roley's business  manager
  • Dee C. Deucer — Former homecoming queen from the wrong side of the tracks
  • Calvin Q. Layder — Class nerd known for his genius and practical jokes
  • Pris E. Teene — Valedictorian and general brainiac who'd once dated Rock
  • Penny Loafer — Rock N. Roley's twin sister
  • Rick C. Alcitrant — Rebel without a clue
  • E.C. Leigh — The cheerleader who just couldn't say "No"
  • Del Toydes — All-star athlete, later recruited for the Washington  Rednecks

Call Two Right Feet at 612-824-1800 to schedule your party or for more info. Back-to-the-'50s Murder Mystery Dinner Parties are offered Saturday nights from 6–10 p.m. by appointment only. A fiendishly fabulous, memorable experiential gift for those who have everything else!

You can't beat the charbroiled burgers, the ambience, the fun and the intrigue at Mallory and Malcolm's place. M&M's time machine transports your party to a 1950s diner -- authentic down to the tabletop jukebox, the dinnerware and the costumes. I am an avid mystery reader, so it was fascinating to see one come alive in front of me and discover that my character was capable of ... such dastardly deeds! For the cost, this is a perfect evening's getaway from uncertain economic times.

Our evening was such a fun time. The fun actually started when we got our invite and started getting our outfits together for our parts in the mystery. Mallory & Malcolm (our son and daughter-in law) did a great job in cooking and serving all the tasty burgers. We enjoyed this evening so much that we will get a group together when there is the new murder mystery written by Sid. I know that many people look for a different type of evening entertainment and this is a great way to go.

My friends and I had a fabulous time at the diner (and I can't remember the last time I had an honest-to-goodness chocolate malt!) I was a little bit disappointed that I didn't get to be the murderer, but maybe a new story line will give me another shot at it (so to speak)!
